Linda McQueen, Human Resource Consultant

Owner and president Linda McQueen has worked 18+ years in business management, sales, training and human resource consulting. An established recruiter in Northwestern Ontario with a reputation for business integrity and quality service, Linda has recruited for top national and international business leaders, searched out specialized talent for key positions, and established extensive business contacts.

She holds a Business Management Certificate with specialization in communication, human relations, personnel selection and sales. McQueen & Associates adheres to the recognized ethics standards of the Association of Canadian Search, Employment & Staffing Services (ACSESS), a national alliance of personnel specialists.

Linda has extensive experience working with senior managers in business and industry. She understands the head office viewpoint, the importance of team building, the barriers to a positive workplace culture, the value of the right person in the right job, and the cost of a non-productive worker.

She has developed and implemented training programs for customer service/sales in the telecommunications sector; trained and managed supervisory staff in the retail sector; established local, national and international connections for recruitment; and delivered qualified personnel for positions in all business sectors plus not-for-profit and government.

Practiced and skilled in the identification of a candidate's skill, aptitude and personality, Linda has earned a reputation for recruiting the right people—individuals with both the knowledge and technical skills to join a company team on short notice, fit the company's job profile and add value to their workplace.
